This position is administrative faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and continuation of a care plan determined by the treating physician for patients receiving treatment for chronic subspecialty medical conditions. Additionally the position provides access to urgent patient care needs and expands access to relevant subspecialties. Major responsibilities include patient care education and counseling program development and clinical trials assistance. The APRN will report to the relevant physicians and his her collaborating physician(s).Requirements Master s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution and four years experience in internal medicine. Licensed in the State of Nevada as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or ability to be licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada prior to employment start date. Candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada Nursing license malpractice insurance and able to be successfully credentialed by Northern Nevada teaching hospitals.Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
