My client is a well-established Academic Institution located in Edmonton AB. They are looking for a SQL Developer (Cognos Oracle) This is a 8-11 Month contract position with a strong possibility of an extension. This position may require occasional travel to client s Athabasca Location. Remote Opportunity may also be available Role Overview We require a ERP SQL Developer to form part of client s ERP sustainment team for Finance and HR Payroll. A wide scope of technical services including troubleshooting and diagnosis of reported problems and defects configuration adjustments assessment and installation of patches the development of new reports or functionality unit testing and technical support. The contracted Resource will report to the Administrative Systems Coordinator who will be responsible on behalf of our client to identify to the successful candidate the required services. Key Responsibilities Perform system analysis and develop technical designs. Perform updates to existing Banner configurations reports workflows etc. Modify and build and unit test reports interfaces conversions and enhancements. Assist software QA team with system and integration testing and coordinate with user business specialists for user acceptance testing. Troubleshoot any bugs in a timely fashion. Resolve technical issues. Collaborate with the Business team perform technical evaluation of impacts of requests for change and provide recommendations. Ensure all documentation is complete. Work with Database Administrators System Administrators and other on the ERP Technical Team to ensure a smooth resolution of issues and problems. Qualifications Required Experience with Cognos Framework Manager and Advanced Reporting tools Advanced SQL experience Demonstrated ability to estimate work and deliver high quality results within agreed-to timelines in a team environment.
