Under the direct supervision of the Operations Vice President the Operations Director has the primary responsibility for the order fulfillment process and production operations within the Las Vegas Facility. These operations encompass C Production Scheduling C Machining Work centers C Assembly Processes C Warehousing and C Maintenance This position is responsible for the execution of our on-time delivery quality standards and budgetary goals. In addition the Operations Director is expected to continue to create a work environment that operates safely and to uphold and foster the company s mission and values. C Organizational Development Partners with senior management and the local management staff to develop employee skills and work ethic criteria s. Conducts routine workforce and performance reviews and develops strategies which directly improve employee performance. This responsibility goes beyond the day to day supervision of employees and requires a hands-on approach to talent selection training and mentoring. The position also recommends appropriate staffing levels. C Operational Performance Partners with senior management to continually improve operational performance. This includes measurable improvements on productivity quality and the utilization of space and capital equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining and publishing key performance indicators. Desired Skills and Experience C Project Management C Production efficiencies and processes productivity improvement knowledge (Kaizen lean management implementation etc.) C Strong leadership and management experience C A degree in business management or related field with a minimum of 5 years working in an Operations Manager or Director role
