Our client is well established insurer in downtown Toronto. They are looking for PeopleSoft Administrator (FSCM HRMS exp) This is a 6 Months contract with strong possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be proficient with complex PeopleSoft 9.1 for both FSCM and HRMS including Peopletools8.52 and Open Systems concepts to analyze and provide production support as well as support to various business ongoing projects. Knowledge & Skills Extensive knowledge in system administration support on the various PeopleSoft 9.1 for both FSCM and HRMS application components including Peopletools 8.52 PeopleSoft Application Servers File Servers and Batch environment Six years of prior experience in PeopleSoft infrastructure design and administration. Experience participating with project teams to manage the implementation of various initiatives that directly or indirectly affect the PeopleSoft environment Must be a Team player Ability to the migrate PeopleSoft modules and other objects such as SQR Crystal reports and envision report layouts between PeopleSoft environments using version control utilities Ability to Clone and refresh PeopleSoft environments on a regular basis using PeopletTools to ensure all PeopleSoft environments are updated and in sync Extensive experience providing technical second level support to WSIB users through a centralized service ticketing system Resource Responsibilities Assist the Team Lead and or Manager on various IT projects relating to upgrades and initiatives by representing the team at project meetings communicating with peers and business users ensuring that the Team Lead and Manager are apprised of the status of assigned projects. Provide after-hours support on all related PeopleSoft PeopleTools PeopleSoft Application Server File Server and Process Scheduler components. Provide technical expertise and second level support to client s users through a centralized service ticketing system. This involves checking the service queue providing immediate ticket resolution by diagnosing and analyzing system log files to identify causes of failure activating system trace or dump files to collect additional information to identify root cause of the problem failure working with relevant BTS teams and software vendors to further identify and resolve the problem.
