Substance Abuse Counselor CAC II or CAC III

MUST High School Diploma GED required. AA Degree preferred. Must have CAC II or CAC III certification from ADAD. Must have a current First Aid CPR certification or obtain within six months from start date of employment. Must be 18 years of age (Company Policy). Minimum 1 year work experience in substance abuse treatment. If a history of substance abuse addiction exists there shall be no evidence of employee substance abuse for a minimum two year time period abstinence from alcohol drugs is mandatory. Must physically be able to perform duties of the job. Must pass Child Protection Registry check must pass pre-employment UA and must be able to pass a CBI Criminal background check. This position is in Las Animas CO in a residential facility setting.
