Our client is well established Major Bank looking for Data Centre Upgrade Infrastructure Program Manager Location London ON. Duration 12 months contract position with strong possibility of further extension Summary IT Program Manager Manager will accept profiles from London Mississauga Toronto Position Summary The hiring manager is seeking an experienced Senior Program Project Manager who can stand alone and lead with the correct attitude (no arrogance needed right attitude confidence preferred) for a large infrastructure project. The ideal individual will have the experience and maturity to lead a project from scratch. The manager is looking for an experienced PM (AT LEAST 7 years of experience) a JR PM will not be successful or considered. This individual must be technically savvy but also be strong on the business side. Their skills should be a 60 40 split (technology 60% business 40%). The project will consist of redesigning the infrastructure for the entire branch from scratch. The ideal PM will have experience in financial planning and the confidence to work with business executives that don t understand technology. As the project will be in its initial stages the PM will work with the business to make serious decisions about the coming changes. The PM will be responsible for managing streams within the infrastructure group and will also manage other PMs and not just resources . The candidate must possess the following skills experience - Finance experience ability to create manage the budget and financial plan for a large project program - Ability to communicate with executive level management and high level stakeholders - Data centre upgrade migration experience infrastructure data centre moves redesigns understanding of how the project will work and areas that need to be focused on - Experience conducting need estimates cost analysis models needs funding an individual with the ability to put together a financial plan is key Top 5 technical skills 1. Project based Windows Operating System experience 2. Experience in server world work station world 3. Experience redesigning or designing the hardware usage process will be obtaining hardware assets such as tablets and laptops experience in these technologies and mobile platforms is essential 4. Experience leading an infrastructure program initiative 5.
