Couple New to Area

Hello Everyone I m Colia Snell my fiancee Freddie Hodges and I are new to the area and we are looking for a place to stay in a nice quite neighborhood in La Porte Indiana. We both have some leases broken due to my abusive ex-husband not happy with me filing for divorce when I learned he was about to have a child. Freddie has just starting working and we are currently living with a friend and would like to go forward with getting our own place.1-2 bedroom 1bath single family home all on one level due to my disability..but if we have to go with an apartment that s fine 2...Please help us if any private owners or apartment complexes are willing to give us a chance to start over with a Peaceful Life to enjoy my grandchildren when they visit it will be MUCH APPRECIATED.THANK U
