EDIT The bike is now running. I put in fresh gas charged up the battery and kicked it about a dozen times and it started up. Took it for a short ride and it ran well. I have an XT550 I m looking to sell. 8852 miles. Ran well last year but haven t had it started yet this year. Tried to kickstart it a couple of times (it s a kickstart only) probably needs a tune up. It does have 2015 tabs plus a DNR sticker. Clean title in my name.It doesn t look new could use a new front fender and the handles bars are a little bent. The carb leaks a little gas.New tires brakes front wheel bearings and fork seals last year. I have several new spares that go with the bike. A new CDI that cost 195 (a well known problem with these bikes). I have a voltage regulator petcock ignition coil some cables and some bearings. A manual that cost 32. Well over 350 in new parts. I will only sell the bike with the parts included.I took it on a 1400 mile trip last year on the TMAT ( minneadv.info tmat ) and had a blast. However I m getting older and looking for a street bike with an electric start.May trade for the right bike. Will only consider offers made in person with cash showing. Don t need to sell and don t need help selling it. If it doesn t sell I ll keep it for a winter project (supposed to be another long cold winter ).
