Job Asbestos Abatement WorkersStart Date IMMEDIATELocation Southlake TX Our customer has openings for Asbestos Abatement Workers. Interviews will be immediately once confirmation of all documentation needed is present and up to date. Demonstrate knowledge of required tools including tool bag tool box bone saw hammer screw driver tin snips razor blade knife end snips insulation knife pliers channel locks tape measure. Perform regulatory decontamination procedures including the use and cleaning of a Hepa vacuum and vacuum bag and filter change out. Perform asbestos patch and repair procedures. Requirements CertificationsTexas State Licensed Asbestos Abatement WorkerPhysicians written statement ( Asbestos Physical on Texas DSHS formLegal to work in the USAMAPP accredited 32 hr asbestos trainingOcia Certified2 Hour Texas Law class or an asbestos refresher which includes the law class.Must be able to pass a DFW Airport Fingerprint Background check.Must work a minimum of 100 hours before quitting or being removed from the job site for a safety violation drug or alcohol use insubordination harassment absenteeism derelict of duty unethical behavior gross misconduct or any other reasonable worker controlled issue that would be detrimental to the project another individual or the company. This would not apply in the case of a reduction in force.
