We have an immediate full-time contract opportunity for a Digital Signage Content Manager in Ottawa Ontario. As this is a position within a government client you must be fluent in both French and English to be considered for this role. Your primary responsibility will be managing the scheduling for and creating visual content for a network of employee-facing digital signs across Canada. You must be skilled at working within limited space creatively previous experience designing display advertising slideware or signage would be an asset. The ideal person for this role will be a digitally savvy individual who s comfortable working within web apps converting and downsampling digital video formats and who understands the basics of user interface design. You must be detail oriented and be able to organize your workday with minimal direction and instruction. Your responsibilities will include - Managing a central content intake e-mail address or web app - Communicating with clients locally and remotely within Canada to interpret their content requests to work effectively to the advantage of the digital signage and get sign off on proofs before publication - Communicating effectively with the creative advisor to provide information on current status of all signage - Understand the client brand and applying the brand creatively to make the signage an effective tool for employee communication - Proofing and suggestion copy edits to all digital signage content for best effectiveness - Owning the responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of content on the signage network This is an ideal position for someone entering the market or someone looking to move on from a pure digital design role to an entry-level management position.
