NEEDS PROGRAM

One Touch Ministry Needs Program One Touch Ministry (OTM) provides housing food clothing life skills education and counseling to citizens returning to our community from incarceration. Those who complete the program have all the tools necessary to become self-sufficient law-abiding tax-paying members of society. OTM has been active in assisting ex-offenders to re-enter the community for the past 17 years. According to many national studies including those done by the Bureau of Justice Assistance the Vera Institute and the Urban Institute there is a direct correlation between ex-offenders having a stable housing environment and a reduction in recidivism. We also provide a support network life skills soft skills instruction and employment search capability among other services depending upon individual need. One Touch Ministry can only help with the assistance of generous donations from family friends and members of the community. Without these donations helping our returning citizens would not be possible. We wish to reach out to you and your business for help we have a list of what we provide each person basic needs from day to day. Reaching out to you will help us meet those needs and bring hope to those returning to society. You can help with our Needs Program you or your business can donate as you see fit. Each time you donate to One Touch Ministry you are helping someone come back into society you are helping us provide in their daily needs we cant do it without the help and support of others. What if we all just said No-not today and just let them struggle on their own it would be easy to walk away or let someone else worry about it but we all know that it is not what God would want us to do. Helping others is what we do best in life we reach out and lift others up when it is needed most. God said just provide for one of my children we in society are his children those re-entering society are his children also. So please reach out and bring hope in someones life by giving to our Needs Program. One Touch Ministry will keep doing what God has asked us to do reach out to those in need support those who are re-entering society. We as people sometimes forget that someone who has been incarcerated for a period of time may or may not have the support they need on re-entering society so it takes people like One Touch Ministry and you to step up and say these people deserve a second chance that they are not-forgotten or left behind.
