Job Description Food and Beverage Assistant Manager Job Order 2320 Our busy Kamloops Hospitality Client is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager with strong leadership skills and exceptional customer service. Summary Assistant Lounge Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of superior customer service experiences in the Lounge by managing and supervising all server staff. Acts in concert with Food and Beverage Manager and Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth work flow and service in lounge. Provides task management problem resolution and assistance in handling service issues. Duties include but are not limited to assisting in training and developing a training manual scheduling hiring and ensuring that lounge staff perform their respective duties consistently in a competent and friendly manner. Provide assistance in all areas of the department as assigned. Responsibilities Maintains excellent service levels in all areas of the Lounge and gaming floor. Host and communicate with guest effectively and in a friendly manner. Organize and motivate the lounge team in their tasks schedules and information meetings. Assist Food & Beverage manager in staff management recruitment training & evaluation Monitor customer service levels at all times Ensure the quality of customer service Maintain a professional appearance and polite demeanor at all times. Take full responsibility for the lounge during allocated shifts Maximize lounge occupancy Assist and work with Food & Beverage Manager to organize the lounge team Assist Food & Beverage Manager to increase lounge sales Oversee the running of the lounge service in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager. Assist food service staff and runners to ensure prompt delivery of food items. Requirements Must possess a high level of personal integrity. Professional polite customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Self-motivated able to work independently. Proven supervisory and human resource management capabilities. Demonstrated flexibility and maturity. Must be bondable. Serving It Right Dynamic customer relations skills ability to motivate and manage team of servers ART Level 1 Supervisory experience in F& B industry Desired Skills Mechanical computer skills an asset. Experience with POS Micros systems.
