Private Percussion Lessons

Greetings My name is Josh and I am offering my services of teaching private percussion levels to persons of all ages and levels from beginning to advanced. Currently I teach high school marching band percussion and indoor percussion. I have substitute taught high school music classes and have done practicum experiences with instrumental music classes in elementary middle and high schools for my graduate program in music education. In 2010 I received a BA in music theory composition and will receive an MS in instrumental music education in May of this year. As a professional percussionist I perform with local community concert bands combos and drum corps as well as conduct the Alesia Band of Hampstead MD. Percussion instruments I teach include drum set (many styles such as jazz funk R& B Latin and rock) timpani mallets frame drums or rudimental snare drum. Lesson rates 30 Minute Lessons 20.00 45 Minute Lessons 30.00 60 Minute Lessons 40.00 Lessons will occur at my place of residence outside of Glenville PA or at the student s home to which 5.00 will be added to the lesson rate to compensate for gas expenses. My current availability is all day on Saturdays. Should during the week be preferred please contact me with preferred day and time and I will do my best to accomodate.
