Hello my family is seeking a 3-4 bdrm rental that accepts section 8 or would consider accepting section 8 assistance. My family qualifies for a 3 bedroom voucher. I am looking for places that will be move in ready ASAP. I would still need to give my current landlord a 30 day notice to vacate. I currently live in Contra Costa County but once I turn in my notice my voucher will transfer over. I am well aware of the horror stories associated with the section 8 program. I can assure you that I am nothing like the stereotypical section 8 renter. I am utilizing the help I am getting from section 8 until I can establish myself and purchase a home of my own. I am a single mother of 3 (ages 18 14 and 11). I recently graduated with my Bachelor s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Cal State East Bay. I pay my rent on time and have no evictions. I have rented from the same owner for over 5 years and can provide excellent rental references. I can also provide letters of recommendation from my college professors as well upon request. I am dependable hard working and responsible. I will treat your home better than if it were my own. I do not smoke or do drugs. I have 2 pets. Both of them are 3 year old females who are licensed spayed and potty trained. I am absolutely able to provide an additional pet deposit if necessary. Our pets are a part of our family so we need to find the PERFECT home that is pet friendly.
