This rare 1890 -1910 oak saddle seat or Bishop s style chair is an authentic Stomps Burkhardt Co. of Dayton Ohio with paper label under bottom of seat. The Lion s face or North Wind face carving and saddle seat exhibit fine craftsmanship and the entire chair is finished in original satin varnish. The chair is sturdy with No wobble NO dents dings or mars and the condition is excellent.
