As a Local Energy Broker the responsibilities are simple Educate your local community on deregulation & energy supplying options Provide Energy Rate Quotes to meet the demand of their businesses and homes Scheduling Proposals and Presentational Meetings with businesses owners and authorized members of their organization. Gain respect and prospect within your local community to generate leads and referrals from prospects Secure signed agreements Perform on-going follow-up services for any client you sign up through PMR Complete training requirements and attend educational company trips for training and development of new or exciting programs. Respectfully Represent PMR and its suppliers as you would want to be represented Qualifications To Become An Energy Broker May have no energy-related experience but must have 1 years of Sales Able to sustain your own personal overhead for the first two-three weeks while gaining transactions through PMR Experience in Business to Business (B2B) Sales is preferred Experience in selling superior products over a cheaper price and or higher saving is highly recommended. Experience in Risk associated industries is fine (insurance financial real-estate banking loans etc.). Must have experience and or fine working at an Independent Contracting Capacity.
