1989 Alvarez Villian Prototype Bass (One of Three)

This bass produces a beautiful higher end and mid tone with a slim neck that supports quick and heavy play. The knob setup is a prototype set up that was never featured on any Alvarez electric bass and the headstock is a 1 of a kind design with tuning knobs angled downwards. It was made in Korea by Cort in between the years 89-95. It s a prototype model of the Alvarez Villian bass model that was made from 95-00. Only three were made in Cherry Ebony and Sunburst finish and after the Villian model sold better in a test sale in St. Louis where Alvarez is based they stopped production. The only non factory parts on the bass are the strap knobs that I replaced because the originals were too small.
