Miniumum Qualifications Must Possess an AA Degree in a related Human Service Field two years experience of case managment & working with adult groups. General Functions Under the supervision of the Family Services Coordinator Supervisor the Family Services Coordinator will ensure that the ACYF Performance Standards are carried out. This includes the areas of Social Services Parent Involvement and Health. Special Functions Link children families to ongoing healthcare system Maintain updated health records for head start children. Serves as an advocate for children and families Organizes and implements parent training activities for the program Recruits and enrolls children for the program Makes homevisits as needed. Knowledge and Skills At minimum must demonstrate the ability to train and work with persons of various backgrounds. Ability to plan and coordinate parent group activities. Ability to develop linkage within the community. Ability to prepare statistical and programmatic reports.
