Entry Level Tower Technician ( Bellingham)

We are currently seeking to fill an Entry Level Tower Technician Position. This position requires candidates to climb great heights up to and even exceeding 200 feet. Training will be provided upon hire. Job Summary Performs general construction of tower sites to include but not limited to site layout installation and maintenance repair operates equipment to include trucks with trailers power tools and non-powered tools. Responsible for the upkeep of all company issued tools and equipment. ResponsibilitiesClimbing and performing work on cell towers typically 200 ft.Installation of antennas mounting hardware installing cable and connectorsInstall connect and test grounding systemsLoading and unloading material tools equipment and supplies for work sitesIdentify all materials and other resources needed to complete projectsFollow all state and federal safety regulations while working in an efficient and productive manner.Most work will be with in all of Massachusetts with work in NH CT ME and VT. 90% of working environment is outdoors and year round.Skills and Qualifications0-2 years of tower climbing and cellular experienceAbility to work at heights of 200 feetAbility to work weekends and nights as requiredWilling to travel Valid Driver s LicenseHigh school diploma or GEDGood work ethic positive attitude reliability and a team mentality is an absolute mustBasic computer literacyAbility to pass preliminary and random drug screening criminal background check and driving background checkThe company offers a competitive benefits package and significant opportunity for professional growth in the rapidly expanding telecommunications industry.
