PSYCHOTHERAPISTUNIVERSITY OF NEVADA SCHOOL OF MEDICINEDEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCESRENO NVThe University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) is currently seeking a licensed Psychotherapist to provide psychotherapy to adults and or children and adolescents in the outpatient clinics the telemedicine system and or on a contractual basis with a clinical affiliate of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine (UNSOM) as well as case management. This position reports directly to the Chair of the PBS department.Requirements Master s Degree in clinical social work or other clinical mental health field from a regionally accredited institution and three combined years of training or experience in psychotherapy such as crisis intervention suicidality and or pschosis. Candidates must be a mental health practitioner (MFT LCSW) licensed in the state of Nevada at the time of hire be eligible for professional liability insurance and must be able to be successfully credentialed by department affiliates clinical partners which provides for the ability to bill independently.The University of Nevada School of Medicine is the only allopathic medical school in the state of Nevada and its clinical mission extends to all areas of the state.
