Georgia State University-TRIO Student Support Services STEM Advi

Federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education the Student Support Services-STEM TRIO Program seeks highly motivated engaging team player to work with college students at Georgia State University (GSU) from first-generation and low-income backgrounds who are majoring in a STEM discipline. Job responsibilities included but are not limited to academic career and financial aid advising coordinating tutoring and STEM programming for students acting as a liaison for the department and the STEM faculty at GSU and helping the Program meet the needs of our student scholars while ensuring that our Program objectives are met. Candidates must possess at least a bachelor s degree have excellent written communication and public speaking presentation skills be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to work effectively with undergraduate students in a holistic manner. Preferred candidates will possess a master s degree or a bachelor s degree in a STEM related field. If interested please visit the GSU Human Resources page to apply.
