Hospital Magnet Program Coordinator

This position is located in Grand Rapids MI. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the area to be considered. Summary Under general supervision you will be the key liaison between the organization and the Magnet Program Office supporting the organization in implementation of initiatives related to obtaining and maintaining Magnet designation. You will guide the organization through the Magnet journey and serve as the resident expert on all things Magnet. Responsibilities Serves as the primary coordinator and resource person for obtaining and sustaining designation as an ANCC Magnet hospital. Assumes responsibility for coordination of the ANCC Magnet application designation and re-designation process. Ensures a well-planned program structure and promote excellence in patient care services. Minimum Qualifications Master s degree in Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan. Three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. Three years of teaching or leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree preferred. National Certification in Specialty preferred.
