Come Join Space Coast Okinawa Kenjin Kai Yuimaru Kai is an Okinawan culture club based in Melbourne Florida. The club was formed by people with an interest in the traditions of Okinawa and its culture. Yuimaru in Okinawan dialect means reciprocity and Kai means club. Yuimaru (reciprocity) is an Okinawan concept that is rooted in old work-sharing practices where all villagers cooperated with each other in planting and harvesting crops. The concept of Yuimaru guides our club s activities. Help one another in case of emergency illness etc as a family community. Help newcomers to the area. Community involvement Space Coast Florida and Okinawa Japan. Share information. Build positive friendship.
