Our client is well-established in banking client looking for a Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk Location MONTREAL QC Duration 6 Months contract with possible extension. Job Description - invoice reconciliations and data entry - review the invoice - understanding of the tax applications within Canada and some Tax applications (HST QST etc). - US tax Non-resident etc. (only a basic understanding of these terms is required) - entering supplier number and invoice number - suppliers all external vendors anything that falls outside of capital spend - knowledge of accounting terms (understanding of invoice terminology) - in-depth knowledge of accounts payable functionality - NOT customer facing - managing quotas - flexibility on start times Requirement - Minimum of a High school degree and Associates Degree in accounting - 3-5 years of experience in accounting accounts payable demonstrated - Understanding of invoice requirements - Knowledge of Canadian taxes for each province - Bilingual French and English(written and spoken 10 10) - Proactive and productive - Experience in a production environment - Extremely versatile and adaptable to new technologies is paramountTechnology applications - Office Suite - Oracle - Easypay Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time - During Client Interview you will receive additional information - variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
