Interpretation will be mainly onsite in educational & medical facilities for limited English proficient individuals requiring language assistance while communicating with school officials parents and medical staff. Online data entry of client schedules and communication with office staff regarding client updates are additional responsibilities.The minimum requirements for this position The Community Interpreter Certificate ( Immediate Hire with your TCI Certificate ) or Completion of The Community Interpreter (TCI) training within the next 6 Months Accuracy in conveying information between a client and a care provider or school officials One year of verifiable experience as an interpreter in a professional setting Adherence to the code of ethics for professional interpreters especially regarding confidentiality The ability to accurately verbalize anatomy injuries symptoms treatments etc. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High School diploma or GED required Availability Monday-Friday 8am-6pm--60% of this time frame consistently Reliable vehicle and access to it during hours of availability Personal cell phone Home internet access and computer literacy for use of custom online software Professional appearance and business attireThe preferred requirements for this position are Simultaneous experience Bachelor s degree Candidates will be required to pass a background check and to complete an interactive training course upon acceptance.If you meet every single one of the minimum requirements and believe this is the job for you we want to hear from you.We are the leading provider of interpretation services in Colorado.
