This position will direct the operations of the maintenance department to ensure quality repairs in a timely manner and maintaining room condition. Position Responsibilities Establish and maintain budget for department. This includes all expenditures including personnel equipment supplies and outside services. Ensure that department is properly staffed and supervise train discipline all employees in the function. Ensure that all unit home work orders and maintenance duties are assigned and completed in a timely manner. Ensure that all units are maintained and in proper operating condition. Responsible for day-to-day operations of all maintenance and engineering functions keeping maintenance shops inc lean organized and safe conditions. Safeguard all supplies equipment and tools. Seek out and contract all necessary outside professional services. Ensure that all permits and inspections are maintained updated appropriately scheduling all inspections ahead of time to ensure compliance with all regulations. Audit repairs maintenance tasks performed by the maintenance team. Order supplies as needed. Pick up parts and materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements College degree diploma or technical trade school certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering. Minimum of 5 years of management experience. Ability to use hand and power tools. HVAC and electrical preferred.
