Nurse Practitioner

The University of Portland Oregon s Catholic university is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner (NP) to join its University Health Center staff. The University Health Center is a holistic center serving the needs of mind body and spirit for the students of our community. The Center has combined advanced practice nursing mental health academic counseling health education and disability services in one system of care. We also provide training opportunities for local nursing and doctoral psychology programs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a master s degree in nursing hold license as nurse practitioner have demonstrable mission and team fit shown excellence in organizational written and public speaking skills. He or she must possess excellent nursing skills. Must comply with policy ethical and legal standards. Experience in addressing the health and mental health concerns of a college-aged population are essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who will thrive in an interdisciplinary setting where collaborative practice will address matters of mind body and spirit. Must be excellent communicator.
