H-J Develop & Construction Ltd. in Edmonton Alberta seeks a highly motivated and creative architect Requirements Over 5 years of experience in architecture is required At least university degree in architecture is required Basic English speaking is required and Korean will be an asset Wage C 39.00 hour Working hours 35 hours working week (full-time permanent) Benefit 10 paid holidays per year Job duties - Consult with clients to determine the type style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered - Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications building materials costs and construction schedules - Prepare sketches and models for clients - Prepare the drawings specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons - Prepare bidding documents participate in contract negotiations and award construction contracts - Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications - Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects.
