Truck Care Level 2 Technician - Goodyear - JR-40031676

DescriptionAs a Goodyear Level 2 Technician you will work in a Goodyear Truck Care Center which is an on-highway location providing light mechanical service and tire service to the Commercial Trucking industry. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to Performing all of the repairs listed on commercial highway trucks and trailers DOT Inspection Electrical Wiring & Lights Exhaust Systems (including turbo replacement) Brakes & Air System Driveline & Suspension (including clutch replacement) Air Conditioning Engine Cooling & Radiator Fuel System Understanding and adhering to all safety standards. Ensuring facility is sparkling clean in all aspects at all times. Be willing and able to drive a service vehicle to where a customer is having a problem and be able to repair or replace their tire(s) or perform light mechanical service as needed. Stocking tires and other areas as needed. Using designated areas for vehicle waste. Performing all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS 1 year DOT sign-off High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must have a valid driver s license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements including be at least 21 years of age. At least 2 year of relevant commercial truck service experience is preferred. Must be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environment as part of a team.
