Disabled and looking for a small dog

Looking for anyone willing to give me a dog or puppy. Who can keep me compony and that I can give a lot of love.i have depression and anxiety and I have panic attacks. My doctor things it would be a good idea for me to have a companion. I live on disability and it would be hard for me to pay the large fee it cost for a dog. I can buy it good and see to it s vet bills. But to put over 1000 for the puppy or dog is way out of my budget. Please help if you can. Thank you Patty McGuane
