Industrial Electrician Maintenance Job Description Responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems apparatus and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment following electrical code manuals schematic diagrams blueprints and other specifications. Diagnose troubleshoot test install and repair electrical parts equipment and systems. Safely work with Multiphase High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve control networks instrumentation PLC HMI VFD servo and control problems. Read and interpret work orders safety rules mechanical and electrical drawings operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance. Maintain accurate and complete records document all work performed appropriately. Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to Supervisor Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas confined space safety safe chemical handling fall restraints etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications 2-3 years related experience required. Attain and maintain required certifications. Working knowledge of National State Local building codes OSHA and standard industry safety rules regulations. Able to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond to urgent repairs. Physical Other Requirements Manual dexterity fine manipulation the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand walk kneel crawl reach climb bend or stoop for prolonged periods of time on a frequent basis. Ability to withstand cold storage temperatures for extended period of time. Constant 32 degrees With certain areas below 32 degrees.
