My client is a well-established printing and consulting organization located in Mississauga ON. They are looking for a Mailroom Clerk (mail and distribution exp required) This is 2 months contract with a strong possibility of extension. Job Description Mail and Distribution Job Summary Work Hours 8 30 am to 5 00 pm Responsibilities include Prioritize and distribute incoming mail Receive sort and process mail documents packages and supplies. Notify recipients as appropriate Deliver and pick-up mail on scheduled mail runs driving a vehicle may be required for some client locations Deliver paper toner etc. to office equipment maintaining records of delivery Perform outgoing postal and courier duties utilizing shipping postal systems Ensuring most efficient and cost effective method Track trace and resolve mail or courier issues Fully operate clean and maintain all shipping and mail equipment Contact third party service provider for mail and shipping equipment if required Skills Education High School Diploma or equivalent certification Experience in customer service mailroom role (minimum 1yr experience) Proven ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of all activities Able to listen and communicate effectively Able to read write and follow basic English instructions Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Basic math skills (add multiply divide) Basic computer skills (keyboard mouse functions) Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time During Client Interview you will receive additional information variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
