Sung Fish Company Limited Manager Brand Protection Sung Fish Co. Ltd. has been exporting fine seafood around the world since 1977 and we supply seafood to distributors restaurant grocery stores. Currently we are seeking a Manager Brand Protection to join our company. Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to General Oversee greater China and Hong Kong territories to identify investigate analyze and act against online and offline counterfeiters and infringers of SUNG FISH s intellectual property. Responsibility for evidence led Investigations and Investigatory procedures relating to Intellectual Property Infringements and Copyright theft. Develop and implement brand protection strategy for Sung Fish. Provide input into overall strategies and tactics for enforcement in greater China and Hong Kong. Track and analyze infringement data for trends intelligence and investigative targeting. Determine optimal resource allocation and effectiveness of enforcement efforts. General policing of both territories for infringing products both online and offline. Liaise with business partners in China Hong Kong territories regarding the origin of counterfeit products and IP and anticounterfeiting generally. Offline Supervise and instruct outside vendors local counsel and investigators engaged in investigations and enforcement on SUNG FISH behalf. Be a liaison for China and Hong Kong Customs and Law Enforcement and become involved in criminal investigations on a case-by-case basis. Work closely with external contacts including Police Customs private investigators retailers and informants. Facilitate ongoing anticounterfeiting training education programs for Law Enforcement agencies and Customs. Provide expert witness evidence at China Hong Kong courts when required for the successful prosecution of counterfeiters and criminal proceedings. Provide assistance and support in police research relating to product inquiries for criminal investigations. Produce accurate witness statements affidavits and necessary exhibits (copies of trademark certificates genuine product) to enable the successful prosecution of counterfeiters. Conducts proactive market surveys to identify sources of diversion or potential resellers of counterfeit Sung Fishbrand products and takes appropriate action to minimize impact to Sung Fish Maintaining and compiling enforcement data in appropriate forms for reporting purposes Work with the Intellectual Property legal team to establish a legal framework and best practice to follow for the successful prosecution of copyright infringement offenders. Have regular meetings and inspection visits to manufacturers distributors and partners. Online Manage online enforcement by corresponding with domain name registrars registrants and third-party service providers (ISPs payment service providers and domain name registries). Provide strategic analysis to link groups of online infringers and to link brick and mortar operations or larger online actions. Proactively search the internet for and take action against websites social media sites or auction websites offering for sale counterfeit SUNG FISH products. Evaluates recommends and implements new technologies and manufacturing techniques to improve brand protection or intellectual property enforcement and reduce counterfeiting of Sung Fish brand products Job Requirements 5 years offline and online anti-counterfeiting brand protection experience. BS BA degree preferred. Must speak English Mandarin and Cantonese preferred. Strong familiarity with online IPR enforcement in China and other Asian territories including knowledge of the challenges and requirements in each region. Working familiarity with IP law (criminal and civil) particularly trademark and copyright. Outstanding communication (both written and verbal). Strong project management experience and ability to direct and coordinate internal and external resources. Substantial experience in formulating implementing and critically reviewing investigations and enforcement initiatives. Experience working with various law enforcement and government organizations across China. Strong time management project management and workload management skills. Ability to multi-task establish priorities and problem solve. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications. Outstanding analytical abilities a demonstrated ability to work independently and complete cases projects in a timely manner Travel required.
