Field Controls Engineer - Cleveland OH - JOB 18-00337Salary Range 65K - 105K Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Cleveland Area Company is seeking a Field Controls Engineer. The Field Controls Engineer will develop PLC and drive based machine control solutions and develop HMI and SCADA control solutions while meeting customer specifications all applicable safety standards and functional requirements. Conduct field installations and servicing at customer sites. Commission PLC drive and HMI control systems. When required conduct shop tests.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Associate s Degree required 5 years experience in the field required. Must be proficient with PLC and HMI programming Must be able to commission AC and DC drives. Must have a good understanding of AC and DC motor theory. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics for control systems. Must be able to respond to customers needs reliably responsibly and quickly. Knowledge of the following product platforms PLC and Drives (AB Siemens ABB SEW) Basic programming skills a plus (HMI-RSView Wonderware Intellution Visual Basic Must be detailed oriented Able to work independently with little supervision Able to travel 30% - 60% depending on location and project type.
