Sr. Automation Engineer

Salary Range 65K - 105K Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Cleveland Area Company is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer. Key responsibilities of the Sr. Automation Engineer will be to develop PCL and drive based machine control solutions. Work with Lead Automation Engineers and other managers on control automation projects for both new machinery and older retrofit machinery. Develop HMI and SCADA control solutions. Design develop and supervise the production of equipment processes systems and subsystems. Control systems design specification programming simulation and testing. Supervise budgeting testing and commissioning.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation (Master Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred) 5 10 years direct experience Must have PLC experience with Siemens Step 7 & Siemens TA Portal programming and configuration Must have HIM experience using Siemens SIMATIC (basic panels comfort panels PC panels Key panels) Experience Knowledge with the following PLC & Drives Rockwell Client Schneider ABB Lenze Experience Knowledge of the following HMI s Wonderware Rockwell Intellution Client Cimplicity Ci-Tech Iconics U.S. Data Experience knowledge of Microsoft C Microsoft NET Microsoft SQL Server Databases etc. Working knowledge of NEC NFPA-79 and UL-508 Experience knowledge of AC & DC motor theories. Ability to read electrical schematics for control systems. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Detail oriented Must be able to travel when needed to client sites.
