Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer will help lead the implementation of supplier quality program initiatives. This person will work closely with Quality Engineering Supply Chain and Operations. Principal duties and responsibilities Supplier Quality Program development Assist in developing the processes and systems needed to manage the supplier quality program. Generate maintain and evaluate supplier quality reports and initiate appropriate actions to establish an acceptable baseline for assigned suppliers. Prepare and coordinate approval of Test Protocols and Test Reports for Supplier Quality Engineering improvement initiatives. Maintain supplier files as needed. Supplier Support Provide a feedback loop to the suppliers to ensure proper communication and compliance. Issue track verify and close Supplier Corrective Action Requests in the database. Supplier Audits Provide audit and monitoring support as necessary. Generate written audit reports in a timely manner. Technical Support Support the investigation and resolution of material and services issues. Provide technical assistance for first article inspections and ongoing performance monitoring. Select and apply appropriate inspection strategy and statistical techniques for incoming materials.
