Aerospace Job Shop located in Mansfield TX is seeking an experienced Production Manager. Responsibilities will include Manage daily planning and oversight of the production operations to reach top performance Responsible for supervising production personnel to ensure they are trained and equipped to perform the necessary procedures processes and work instructions that meet company and customer standards. These are measured by productivity process reliability equipment reliability yield rates cycle time safety employee morale on time delivery and customer satisfaction Remain highly visible in the manufacturing process act as management presence on the shop floor on daily basis Responsible for day to day output efficiency and adherence to policy in manufacturing of customer product. Establish and maintains daily communication system to assure that work will be completed as scheduled Identify research and implements PROCESS and QUALITY improvement processes and procedures as needed and approved by VP of Operations Participate in production meetings and distribute daily schedule requirements to the appropriate departments Coordinate material requirements with Purchasing Expeditor and Contracts departments so that all production materials are available as scheduled and needed Coordinate overtime vacation coverage performance reviews and cross-departmental assistance necessary to maintain efficient operation and delivery schedules Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring safety regulations are followed Provide support for MRB activity and Quality Assurance support to QA Lead Company is a well-established Aerospace Build to Print shop in a new facility with a reputation for delivering high quality product on time and at a low cost. This position is for a hands-on person with experience managing in a Job Shop environment. Successful candidate must excel in both communication and people skills. Knowledge of CNC machining in both Titanium and Aluminum is required. Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience and performance.
