M & M Extra Care a school-age program is looking for several qualified and motivated Classroom Caregivers. You must be at least 18 year of age have experience working with groups of children such as in a childcare setting church youth groups summer camps or coaching sports teams. Our programs are located in elementary schools. Our programs run September through mid-June along with a summer program in June & July. The Classroom Caregiver is responsible for working directly with students planning daily activities monitoring homework hour and working with the Site Director to foster a safe and effective environment for children in Young-Fives through 8th grades.Employment will begin in late-August. The Classroom Caregiver is assigned his her own classroom of students and will develop lesson plans of activities that are developmentally appropriate for that group of children. Other positions include Substitute Caregiver and Floating Caregiver. The Substitute Caregiver is familiar with all age groups and will fill-in when a staff member needs to be absent. The Floating Caregiver is also familiar with each grade level and may float between classrooms or program sites. Our Caregivers work 20 hours per week (Monday- Friday 2 30-6 30 pm) at one of five different locations and earn 9.00- 10 hour or more depending on education and or experience.
