Baggage Delivery Driver

We are looking for an experienced delivery driver who is responsible for delivering luggage in an accurate and safe manner to customer s residences and hotels. Responsibilities Maintains and protects all property in excellent condition Drives delivery vehicles safely and lawfully on highways and local streets. Parks vehicles in neighborhoods or at businesses as required Engages in face-to-face customer interaction while delivering and unloading products in customer s homes which may include checking customer ID Coordinates with the route planner to schedule daily deliveries and pick-ups Contacts customer directly regarding early or late for a delivery (will associate contact customer ) Reports on delivery status Remains flexible to restructure schedule as needed Records each delivery and pick up on a load manifest and obtains signatures from customers to comply with all regulatory requirements Wears required uniform while on shift Adheres to strict safety and quality standards Qualifications Possess a valid driver s license and a clean motor vehicle record Completed high-school diploma or GED equivalent Authorized to work in the United States Successfully pass the post offer pre-employment screening Ability to use computers including PDAs Ability to read a map guide and knowledge of traffic laws are required Follow company appearance guidelines. Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude even in heavy traffic and unusual driving conditions Hard working and self-motivated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service skills required Apply Here
