Freelance Graphic Design (8 Years Minimum Experience )

Small local advertising and marketing company is seeking a reliable professional part-time FREELANCE graphic designer to assist with a wide variety of design and production projects for our clients. Minimum of 8 years of on-the-job experience is required including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop) and MS Word. Some web experience is helpful but not a must. Applicants should be professional freelancers available for DAYTIME PROJECT WORK. Designers who are not detail oriented thorough proofreaders or accustomed to executing projects with minimal supervision SHOULD NOT APPLY. Projects are granted based on work volume. Salary ranges from 20- 35 per hour depending on level of design skill and whether projects require production vs. design work. We currently offer 20-25 hr for production (i.e. revisions prepress make-ready of files for printer client retouching researching images typing editing) and 35 hr for design Contract opportunities do not include benefits. This is primarily a telecommuting opportunity. Freelancers are generally paid monthly within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
