Immediate Hiring Repair Coordinator

A small property management company in Santa Ana California has an immediate opening in its customer service department for a full time Repair Coordinator. The Repair Coordinator will be the primary contact between maintenance technicians and tenants. There is no experience needed for this job. We will train the right candidate for this position. The Repair Coordinator will be responsible for managing all requests for maintenance or repairs that are submitted by tenants living in a home managed by us. This includes overseeing all incoming repair requests and scheduling repairs with 3rd with repair vendors. A successful candidate MUST have the following TECHNICAL skills Must have a good understanding and knowledge of basic technology such as Microsoft Word EXCEL and Outlook as well as miscellaneous office equipment (e.g. calculators phones FAX machines copiers etc.). A successful candidate MUST have the following PERSONAL skills Exceptional communication skills (able to speak clearly and concisely). Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills (able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with demanding clients). Strong organization skills (able to keep detailed logs and records). Ability to multitask (able to track and resolve multiple issues at once). Exceptionally reliable with the ability to meet or exceed the company s attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to comply with the policies rules and procedures of the company. A plus but not required is An understanding of how to make basic repairs. Prior real estate or property management experience. This is a full time position. Primarily this position will require working in our Santa Ana California office between 8am-5pm however it may also require phone calls and coordination of emergency related requests during some nights and weekends. As such the right candidate must be able to work flexible hours and answer phones after office hours. Compensation will be 9 to 12 per hour based on experience.
