Small equipment repairer(NOC 7335) AMC is looking for a person who wants opportunities to grow work well in a team environment and take initiative as a small equipment repairer l Title Small equipment repairer(NOC 7335) l Salary & Job Types 33 hourly Full time & Minimum 37.5 hours per week l Location 103-1750 Hartley ave Coquitlam BC V3K 7A1 JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES l Test and adjust repaired cleaning and lawn equipment for proper performance l Performs inspections mechanical maintenance repairs assembly and servicing to cleaning equipment(floor scrubbing machine floor buffing machine wet and dry commercial vacuum cleaner extractor carpet steam shampoo machine air pressure wash machine) and landscape equipment(lawn mowers blowers trimmer etc) l Complete repairs on equipment as requested by supervisors or Director l Help keep equipment and tools in safe operating condition l Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electric and powered equipment l Test and inspect electric and powered equipment to determine malfunctions to locate missing and broken parts and to verify repairs l Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and components l Determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about troubleshooting l Record repairs made time spent and parts used EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS l Completion of Secondary School is required l At least 3 years of small engine and equipment repair experience is required l Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance l Knowledge of cleaning equipment and landscape equipment is asset l Must possess a valid driver s license l Flexibility to work variable and flexible hours including overtime l Frequent bending lifting standing entire shift If you feel you are the right fit for this position please submit your resume by email at info(at)amcmaint.com We thank all those who apply but only those qualified will be contacted.
