Learn French with a native speaker in Manhattan Learn French without moving an inch I am a international college student in Manhattan looking to pursue one of my favorite past-times which I have been doing for the past 4 years now... teaching French to non-native speakers. I have lived in France all my life and French is my first language - I am quite new to New York City. I am also an avid French literature enthusiast hence the French language holds few secrets for me. No previous experience in the French language is required. I teach French at all levels whether you are A beginner interested in discovering the language A high school student currently taking any level of French AP French Looking to strengthen existing bases such as basic grammar and vocabulary Seeking greater fluency proficiency Trying to practice your spoken French and become more comfortable with your speaking abilities Planning a trip semester year abroad in a French-speaking country etc. Teaching method I like to tailor my method to my students however I do place great emphasis on spoken French through the means of formal and informal conversation depending on your specific needs. I equally value reading and writing hence I work with diverse resources to strengthen all essential skills and help you reach your goal. Rates 20 for a 1-hour face-to-face private lesson - 35 for a 2 hours. I also give longer intensive classes to familiarize children teens to the language and or immerse them in a French-speaking environment from a young age. Convenience I am mobile and can travel to your home if you are located in Manhattan (and perhaps in other parts of NYC).
