AV Product Engineer

Our client a large technology solutions provider located near Pittsburgh PA is seeking an Audio Visual Product Engineer. Responsible for identifying validating developing testing and ensuring the overall profitability of the Company s new AV products. Work with suppliers vendors R& D sales engineering and marketing to guide new product development. Define and execute required engineering design and production validation testing (EVT DVT and PVT) lead safety and regulatory certification and support release activities throughout the launch process. Provides competitive product analysis technical training assistance with the creation of product data sheets and other technical and marketing materials. Must have experience in computer networking signal switching and visualization technologies such as video processors video distribution digital signage and switches. Outstanding communication problem-solving multi-tasking organizational and technical skills. Must be able to interpret and generate product drawings and specifications. Travel up to 10% mostly domestic. Bachelor s degree in Engineering Engineering Technology or Computer Science with a minimum of three years experience as a product engineer focused on validation and testing.
