looking for small free puppy

My husband is a Vietnam Vet. And he is looking for a small free puppy. We just had to put our chihuahua to rest. She was 17 years old. We got her when she was 8 weeks old. Our problem right now is to find another small puppy for him to use for a companion pet for free . My husband and I are both slightly handicapped (but we are able to care for a pal). It would have the best home ever. We don t have a lot of money that s why we are looking for free. My husband had our chihuahua for a companion pet. She was typically spoiled. I hope someone out there might be able to help us out. We are lonely we miss our chihuahua
