This comedy starring Hugh Grant Judy Davis Emma Thompson and Julian Sands tells the story of the romance between Amandine Aurore Lucie Dupin better known as the author George Sand and Frederick Chopin. Set in 1830s France the movie features piano works by Chopin and Liszt. The Washington Post declared Impromptu is a celebration of romanticism of joyful release big emotions bohemianism and the splendid pursuit of art. Free to the public this event is co-sponsored by the Bach Chorale Singers in celebration of their 50th Anniversary Season and by West Lafayette Public Library....
