IF YOU HAVE THE ABOVE MODEL WITH THE DEFECTIVE BURNER AND THIS IS A REPLACEMENT PART FOR BLU-RAY PLAYER. IT IS VERY EASY JUST UNPLUG THE PLAYER . USE A COMON SIZE PHILLIP 2 OR 3 SCREW DRIVER TO OPEN THE PLAYER S TOPPER METAL COVER THEN USE 3 TO UNSCREW ALL THE 4 SIDES TINY SCREW. THEN CAREFULLY DISCONECTED THE TWO COMPUTER LIKE CONECTOR WIRES AND ONCE AGAIN CAREFULLY PUSH THE OLD ONE A LITTLE FORWARD AND BACKWARD THEN PULL IT UP THEN REPLACE THE NEW ONE. PETER(415)948-0966
