Oklahoma State University Athletics Center is seeking applicants for the position of Herd Manager. Management and day to day care of Equestrian horse herd. Supervise and manage Equestrian student workers including graduate student. Manage and coordinate maintenance activities of facility including but not limited to horse stalls fencing and practice event facility. Minimum qualifications High School GED plus 4 years of experience or Bachelor s degree plus 1 year experience in equine management. Applications are being accepted until position is filled. Position is contingent upon available funding. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of horses and livestock. Must have experience with running and maintaining a tractor and related equipment. Experience with driving a truck and trailer and hauling livestock is a necessity. Heavy lifting required moving such items as hay bales and feed sacks. Experience with lawn equipment.
