Pilot Plant Supervisor

Pilot Plant Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of two Pilot Plant technicians and ensuring compliance with all safety quality documentations reporting and sanitation standards. R& D Supervisor is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the pilot plant within company standards of quality cost and safe work procedures. Candidate must be a dependable self-starter who had the follow-up skills to produce extradinary results with intergrity and communicate challenges effectively while displaying a positive can-do attitude. Supervises Pilot Plant technicians coordinates the daily activites of effectively manage the flow of R& D maintian thorough knowledge of all manufactoring processes and equipment coordinates with maintenance engineering and others to solve technical issues identifies and initiates process improvements trains upgrades evaluate and reviews all shift employees and assures adherence to SQF train employees in NFPA HACCP GMP and Safety regulations. Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of college level coursework specialized training with progressively responsible experience. Minimum of two year exiperence in manufactoring supervision required with R& D. Good written and verbal skills. Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Excel Word and Office skills as well as Internet research skills. Physical ability to perform task that may require prolonged standing sitting and other activites. Works comfortably in a fast paced enviroment. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to plan organize prioritize work and take initiative and creativity to troubleshoot problem solve and determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
