Volunteers Wanted for Riverbank Cleanup

Any volunteers interested in doing something to benefit yourself our State the birds animals fish and wildlife please consider a day with us. We go around to the worst areas for fishing line tackle to be left behind or wash up. One of the biggest illigal dump areas close to a restoration area is our biggest dream. Right now there are only a few of us but with time I am hoping the word gets out and we all join together. People who exercise or want to lose weight this is a great way to shed some pounds or workout I alone have lost 20 pounds in 2 months by volunteering. The big dream is to clean up one of the worst areas in Charleston but to do so we need volunteers. I have contacted many people on the WV REAP Program and many others and to my surprise have gotten no reply back when I emailed them concerning the list of clean up areas they have- which are clean and have people who clean them a few parks. Without getting into to much I just wanted to offer an area that was badly needed of a cleanup and in return I would make sure I personally had one of the areas clean by the date of the WV REAP Cleanup. 1 or 2 days a year is not enough. If you live in WV then you see the trash you see the mess up and down the back roads interstates and rivers. I dream of seeing people doing thier normal exercise walking but with a grabber and a bag either while walking their dog or exercising just think of the trash they pass. Just think about the effects if every person done this Daydreaming again...But it all starts with us getting together and Id love to meet you and have your help one day.
